The Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the Higher School of Economics invites everyone to attend a scientific seminar “Multiscalar identities, conflicted discourses, and dynamic narratives in international energy politics”. The main speaker will be Anna Kuteleva, research fellow, visiting lecturer of School of International Regional Studies.
How do different states understand energy and how do these understandings influence relations between them? At the heart of research project is an interest in the interplay between politics and sociocultural contexts in international energy politics. Building analysis on constructivist and poststructuralist insights, A. Kuteleva seek to offer a nuanced perspective of energy politics that captures such variables as social context, intersubjective meanings, and identities.
